At Spark camp, your child will embrace their creative side as they design and code their very own computer game. The perfect place to start for beginners who want to kick start their coding journey, and kids with some coding experience will love it too. Each child will design an engaging platform game (similar to Mario Bros.), and then bring it to life with intuitive, yet powerful, drag and drop code. The fun doesn't have to stop at the end of the camp because your child will have ongoing access to Code Camp World and can continue coding and creating at home.
YouTube Creators Camp is for the vloggers, gamers and budding content creators! Kids aged 9 - 13 are invited to harness their creativity and join us for two days of planning, storytelling, shooting and video editing. The children pair up and create content in a green room, and while we can’t promise YouTube Stardom, your child will learn loads and will have a blast! They will be producing and directing their own ideas instead of simply watching other peoples.
Minecraft Engineers is our latest exciting blend of coding, engineering and creativity designed to pique your child’s curiosity and provide a foundation in programming. Kids will build a rollercoaster by learning and applying coding, basic engineering concepts and command-based programming in an age-appropriate way that's also incredibly fun!
Rated 5 stars by hundreds of parents, see what they’re saying about us…
My daughter (age 9) attended in Jan 2018 and absolutely loved it, it's now her new favourite holiday camp! She didn't know any other children there, but after the kids days she had made some new friends and very keen to go back to the next camp!
My daughter went to Code Camp knowing not very much at all about coding, or had any clue about how games are constructed. She took to it as if she had been coding all her life! The teaching by the young team was amazing, she learned a new skill, made some new pals, had a lot of fun and gained a huge amount of confidence. It's great to give kids this kind of exposure to a new skill outside of school, where it feels less like learning and more like holiday club - can't recommend the course enough.
My son was extremely excited about the stage 1 course, and couldn't wait to go back each morning. I would in future recommend to share a curriculum with parents, to understand what was learned and what tools used--it isn't easy to interrogate an 8yo, and outside of outcomes I don't really know the details of what was taught.
My daughter absolutely loved it - thank you so much!
Sam was really excited to come to camp and he enjoyed every day. He loved being able to make up his own game and still loves playing it even now. Excellent support, personal, great friends and lots of fun.
My son Elliott had the best time at Code Camp. He has ASD and sometimes finds it hard to settle in to new situations; however at Code Camp he immediately felt at home. From his amazingly warm and enthusiastic welcome from the team to every day he explained as ‘flying by’, he honestly told me he enjoyed every single second and learned a lot. Code Camp was extremely well organised and inclusive, my son thoroughly enjoyed himself and already has stressed to me it’s very important he returns in the summer! Thanks a million Team!
